A small Alberta company with one job: keep client details out of AI chats.
Hushtag is made in St. Albert, Alberta.
We built it after watching how people actually use ChatGPT at work: someone has a client letter to write or a file to summarize, and the fastest thing is to paste the whole thing in, names, birth dates, health numbers and all. Banning AI doesn't stop that. It just moves it to personal phones. We wanted a tool that lets a small office keep using AI while the identifying details stay on their own computers.
So Hushtag does the hushing on your computer, before anything reaches the AI, and puts the real details back into the answer on your screen. There is no Hushtag server that sees your text, because there doesn't need to be one. If you want to check that rather than take our word for it, here's how.
How we run things
- Your text never comes to us. We couldn't read it if we wanted to. The only things that leave your computer are your license key (to check it's valid) and, if you buy, your order details with our payment provider.
- Plain prices, no sales calls unless you want one. Every plan is on the pricing page. If you'd like help setting up your office, email us for a free 10-minute setup call.
- Honest about limits. Hushtag is a safety net, not a guarantee, and it doesn't make anyone compliant on its own. We'll always say what it does and doesn't cover.
- Local support. Email goes to a person in St. Albert, not a ticket queue.
